Lucile Kobs, 94, of Omaha, died Saturday, Nov. 4, 2000, at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Services will be held 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Interment will be at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery. A reception for family and friends will be held immediately following interment at V.F.W. Post 2503.

Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home with an Order of the Eastern Star service at 7 p.m.

Lucile Kobs was born Sept. 17, 1906 in Fullerton.

She was a member of the Eastern Star Naomi Chapter 121, and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

On April 1, 1956, she married George Kobs.

She is survived by her husband, George; a daughter, Doris Taulborg of Omaha, a son, Wayne Morris of Des Moines, Iowa; seven grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Charles Morris and Rodney Morris. Memorials are suggested to Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue. Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
