Miss Helen Koepke Died Sunday At Blair Hospital

Miss Helen Koepke, a resident of Blair for the past sixty years died last Sunday at Memorial Community Hospital following a brief period of ill health.

She was born at Papillion, Nebraska, in 1908 and was 65 years of age at her death.

Her father, for many years was a depot agent and Western Union operator here. Much of that time the family lived in the 1600 block on Grant Street. Mr. Koepke died in 1958.

Miss Koepke is survived by a brother, Russell, who lives in Chicago.

Funeral services will be held at the Bendorf Funeral Home today (Thursday) at 10:00 A.M. The Rev. Ray Phelps of the First Christian Church will conduct the service. Committal will be made at Harlan, Iowa, after a brief service there at 1:30 p.m.
