Dr. A. Gordon Ferguson of 25 Lateer Drive, Normal, Illinois, an associate Professor of Spanish at Illinois State University died about 6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 22nd after suffering an apparent heart attack, while walking near his home.

His wife, Lucille preceded him in death on October 15, 1967. He is survived by wife, Evelyn, whom he married May 3rd, 1975.

Also surviving are daughter, Patricia McCowan and three grandchildren.

He was former head of Foreign Language Department at Dana College and had been on Illinois State University faculty since 1964.

Memorials are being made to Bloomington-Normal Symphony.
