Kenneth Stonum, 68, of Newport, Ky., died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1997 at St. Elizabeth medical Center, North Covington, Ky.
Private services were Saturday at Ronald B. Jones Funeral Home in Ludlow, Ky. Burial was in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill, Ky.
He was the brother-in-law of Shirley and Derald Crom of Herman, Ruth and Don Tucker of Omaha and Beth and Bob Yost of Coleridge.
He was a retired fleet service clerk with American Airlines. He had served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He was a member of the American Legion Post # 153 and a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Newport, Ky.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; sons Robert of Louisville, Ky.; Ronald of Beavercreek, Ohio; Mark of Summerville, S.C.; and Michael of Rapid city, S.D.; one daughter, Diane Kay Stonum of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
