SERVICES FOR ALBERT STORK WILL BE FRIDAY

Services for 88 year old Albert H. Stork of Arlington, will be on Friday, May 4th. Mr. Stork died on Wednesday, May 2nd at the Fremont Hospital. The Friday 2 p.m. services will be at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Robert Backhus officiating. visitation starts at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Reckmeyer Funeral Home in Arlington. Burial will be in the St. Paul’s Cemetery, Arlington.

Albert H. Stork was born at Arlington on March 30, 1891. He had farmed north of Arlington for many years. In 1958 he retired and moved to Arlington. He has lived at the Memorial Hospital Annex, Fremont, since 1977.

He was married to Laura Hilgenkamp on March 3, 1921. She preceded him in death on September 25, 1966.

Mr. Stork was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Layman’s League in Arlington.

He is survived by three sons, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The sons are Eugene of Fremont; Gerald and Verdell Stork, both of Arlington. One brother, Martin W. Stork, lives in Arlington.

Pallbearers will be grandsons. They are: Kendell Stork, Phillip Baker, Daniel Michael, Timothy Stork and James Stork.

ALBERT STORK Albert H. Stork was born March 30, 1891 at Arlington, Nebraska. He was the son of Casper and Caroline (Lallman) Stork. A lifetime resident of the Arlington area, Albert was united in Holy Matrimony with the former Laura Hilgenkamp on March 3, 1921. The couple farmed north of Arlington until retirement in 1958 at which time they moved to a home in Arlington. Laura preceded him in death on September 25,. 1966. Albert continued to live in Arlington until May of 1977. Since that time he has resided at the Memorial Hospital Annex in Fremont.

Albert passed from this life Wednesday morning, May 2, 1979 at Memorial Hospital in Fremont at the age of 88 years, 1 month and two days. He had been a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Layman’s League. He is survived by his 3 sons, Eugene of Fremont, Gerald and Verdell, both of Arlington; 1 brother, Martin W. Stork of Arlington; and by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers, Henry, Frank, Gustav, Rudolph and Julius; and 6 sisters, Lydia and Annie Stork, Jennie Oerman, Mathilda Smith, Ella Dunklau and Louise Kuhls.
