SERVICES FOR MRS. AUGUST STORK WILL BE WEDNESDAY

Services for Mrs. August Stork, 87, longtime resident of the Orum and Arlington communities, will be Wednesday, June 27, at 2:00 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church north of Arlington with the Reverend D. L. Gesterling officiating.

Mrs. Stork passed away Sunday morning at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County.

Anna Marie Kroeger Stork was born on a farm near Arlington, November 12, 1885. She was baptized November 29, 1885 by the Reverend John Hilgendorf. She moved with her parents to Beemer, Nebraska at the age of 5 years.

She made her confirmation vows on April 3, 1898 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, south of Beemer.

On April 19, 1911, she was united in marriage to August Stork by the Reverend J. H. Tegeler, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Beemer.

They resided on a farm near Orum until 1946 when they moved to Arlington.

Mr. and Mrs. Stork were married for 62 years and were privileged to celebrate their 60th Anniversary in 1971.

Survivors are her husband, August; a daughter, Viola (Mrs. Albert Dunklau) Arlington; sons, Martin C. Arlington; Harlan, Blair; brother, Carl Kroeger, Beemer; 8 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

The Reckmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements with burial in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Galen Dunklau, Delyn Stork, Terry Stork, Floyd Kroeger, Wayne Kroeger and Walter Stork.
