Dorothy E. Ohrt, 86, of Blair, died Monday, July 25, 2005, in Omaha.

Funeral services were Wednesday, July 27, at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Dorothy Elizabeth Ohrt was born March 5, 1919, in Washington County. She was a member of the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women, 4-H Clovereens (leader), and the Christian Women's Club.

She married Stanley Ohrt on Feb. 22, 1942.

She will be remembered for her warm spirit which will be missed by many.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Paula Lytle of Denver, Colo., Merry Truhlsen and Marta Anderson of Blair, and Georgia and Bob Byrn of Kearney; brother-in-law and wife, Alvin and Clara Ohrt of Fort Calhoun; sister-in-law, Mildred Lantefield of Fremont; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley, in 1984; and a brother, Paul Slader.

Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Calhoun; sister-in-law, Mildred Lantefield, of Fremont; grandchildren, Alan and Timmari, Katie, Ryan, and Keith; many nieces and nephews. A special thank you goes out to all the caregivers at Immanuel Medical Center.
