GILBERT STORK

The Bader-Rosanik Colonial Funeral Home in Fremont are making arrangements for a funeral for 72-year-old Gilbert C. Stork. Mr. Stork, of 249 No. Bell Street in Fremont, died on Sunday, June 9th at the Memorial Hospital in Dodge County.

Funeral services will be on Thursday, June 19th, at 1:30 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. Tim J. Gierke will officiate. Burial will be in the Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.

Gil Stork was born on February 4, 1913 in Washington County, Nebraska. He was a retired farmer and moved to Fremont in 1964. He hard farmed of many years in the Herman, Nebraska area. He had also lived in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

He was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and a past state president of the Nebraska Appaloosa Horse Club.

On June 4th, 1939, he was married to Irene Callahan in Winslow, Nebraska. He is survived by his wife, Irene, of Fremont; son Tom of Fremont; son Wayne of Lowry City, Missouri.

He is also survived by a sister Lenda Struve of Fremont; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Todd Stork, Greg Stork, Mark Stork, Mark McCabe, Terry Cottrell, Robbie Cottrell, Bill Campbell and Mark Stark.

Organist will be Barbara Gierke and a duet will be sung by Larry Reimnitz and Sandy Sukstors.

The family has established a memorial fund for the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until the service on Thursday.
