HARVEY C. STORK

Services for Harvey C. Stork, 72 of Arlington, who died Monday, December 2, 1985 in the Fremont Care Center will be held on Friday, December 6, 11 a.m., at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington. Pastor Dennis Maaske will officiate and burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Stork was born March 17, 1913, the son of Julius and Lina Stork of rural Hooper.

He grew up in Hooper and lived in the Hooper-Craig area until 1943 when he moved to a farm near Arlington where he farmed until he retired in 1978 and moved into Arlington.

Stork married Wilma Panning on January 4, 1942 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hooper.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Arlington and a Charter member of the Lutheran Layman’s League.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Lee of Arlington; one daughter, Mrs. David (Carolyn) Herrmann of Arlington; one brother, Lloyd of Fremont; his stepmother, Esther Stork of Blair; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and an infant daughter.

Pallbearers will be Edgar Grefe, Wilbur Grefe, Obert Scheer, Henry Wilkening, Glenn H. Giesselmann, and Norman Stork.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be given to the church or the Arlington Library Fund.

HARVEY C. STORK

Harvey C. Stork, the son of Julius and Lina (Hilgenkamp) Stork, was born on march 17, 1913 on a farm near Hooper, Nebraska. He lived at Hooper and Craig before moving to a farm near Arlington in 1943. He was united in Holy Matrimony to Wilma Panning on January 4, 1942 at Immanuel Lutheran Church near Hooper. Harvey farmed until 1978 when he retired and moved into Arlington. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Lutheran Laymen’s League.

Harvey passed from this life, Monday, December 2, 1985 at the Fremont Care Center in Fremont, Nebraska, at the age of 72 years, 8 months and 15 days. He is survived by his wife, Wilma; son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Jackie Stork of Arlington; daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and David Herrmann of Arlington; brother, Lloyd Stork of Fremont; step-mother, Esther Stork of Blair; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ray and Earl; and an infant daughter, Donna Mae.

Following the graveside services, a lunch will be served in the Parish Hall for the family, relatives and friends.
