JOAN M. STORK, 69

Services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, north of Arlington for Joan M. stork, 69 of Arlington who died Dec. 8, 1996 at the Fremont Area Medical Center in Fremont. Rev. Michael L. Rogers officiated. Burial was in St. Paul’s Cemetery.

Joan M. Stork was born Aug. 3, 1927 at Arlington to Frederich and Clara Giesselmann Vogt. She was a graduate of Arlington High School and graduated from business college in Omaha.

She lived her entire life in the Arlington area.

She was baptized at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Aug. 14, 1927 and was confirmed into the Lutheran faith May 11, 1941. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and was very active in the church’s organizations.

She married Norman L. Stork Aug. 14, 1949 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Norman L. Stork of Arlington; a son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Joyce Stork of Fremont; daughters and son-in-law, Janine Stork of Omaha and Kris and Jeff Hallstrom of Omaha; a brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Rosalyn Vogt of Arlington; sisters and brothers-in-law, Opal and K.R. Miller of Fremont; Dorothy Vogt of Arlington; and Doris and C. W. Rydstrom of Omaha; and four grandchildren, Zach Stork, Nat Stork, Alex Hallstrom and Emily Hallstrom.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or the Arlington Rescue Squad.

Reckmeyer-Moser Memorial Chapel in Arlington was in charge of arrangements.
