Lucille E. Jurek, 78

Lucille E. Jurek, age 78, of Blair, Nebraska, passed away May 20, 2015, at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Lucille was born July 6, 1936, in Baileyville, KS, to Anton and Nora (Schmidt) Koelzer. Lucille worked for the Railroad Express for several years prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom of 4 children who love her dearly.

Lucille was preceded in death by her infant child, parents and several siblings. She is survived by sons, Frank (Tammy) Jurek and Roger Jurek; daughters, Bernadine Svendgard, Gloria (Robert) Schimmelpfenneg; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; significant other, Roger Ward; sisters, Eleanor Engler, Ethel Dick, Marcella Andrews, Grace Koelzer; brothers, Raymond Koelzer, Leo Koelzer.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association. The family will receive friends at the American Legion following the visitation at funeral home.
