SERVICES FOR FORMER ARLINGTON MAN WERE HELD

Graveside services for Edward Kopke, 95, Pine River, Minn., formerly of Arlington, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Arlington Cemetery. Rev. W.C. Simmer, Fremont officiated.

Mr. Kopke, born at Dundee, Mich., March 6, 1875, was an Arlington blacksmith for a number of years. He resided in Pine River for the past 12 years and died there, in his home, Wednesday.

He is preceded in death by his wife, the former Ruby Loshbaugh, who died in 1963.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Marian) Hickman, Pine River, Minn.; Mrs. Barney (Lillian) Hanson, Argyle, Minn.; and Mrs. Florence Carney, Minneapolis, Minn.; a brother, Tonie, Dundee, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. L.J. (Ruth) Shannon, Garden Grove, Calif., formerly of Fremont; Mrs. Lavona Emens, Miami, Fla.; and Mrs. Dorothy Cournoyer, El Cajon, Calif.; 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
