Patricia M. Korshoj, 83

Patricia M. Korshoj, 83, of Tekamah died Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Interment will be in the Tekamah Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Patricia Marie Dean was born on March 27, 1923, in Tekamah, to James A. and Sarah A. (Tobin) Dean. She attended District 19 grade school and graduated from Tekamah High School in 1940.

On Jan. 17, 1944, she married N. Raymond Korshoj in Tekamah. She was co-owner, along with her husband, of Ray & Pat’s Steakhouse & Lounge in Neligh from 1960-1970 and in Ainsworth from 1970-1973.

They resided in Hastings, Tekamah, Neligh, Ainsworth and Oakland before moving back to Tekamah in 1982.

Mrs. Korshoj was a past board member of the Chatt Senior Center in Tekamah, and member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair and many bridge clubs.

She is survived by three children and their spouses; Jim and Pat Korshoj of Manzanita, Ore., Kristy and Joe Maggiore of Omaha, and Karma and Ken Fields of Shorewood, Minn.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Delia Ritz of Las Vegas, Nev.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1990; daughter, Kita Marie; son, Jerry Kent; and granddaughter, Kaki Maggiore.

Funeral services 10:30 Wednesday, St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Burial 1:30 PM at Tekamah Cemetery. Visitation will begin 10 AM Tuesday with a Rosary at 7 PM at funeral home.
