Services for Virginia Korhoj, 75 who died January 29, 1991 at Good Shepherd Home in Blair will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 1 at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Howard Bailey officiating.

Mary Virginia Blankenbeckler was born August 4, 1915 at Tekamah, Nebraska to Richard and Mary Blankenbeckler. Virginia, as she was known, attended school in Tekamah and later graduated from Dana College in Blair.

She married Simon Korshoj August 30, 1934 and they made their home in Blair. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1977.

She taught Sunday School at First United Methodist Church for years. She was very active in Girl Scouting and was a member of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Revolution (DAR) and Monday Afternoon Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Harold Blankenbeckler, Glenn Blankenbeckler and Jack Blankenbeckler and sister, Dorothy Buss.

She is survived by a sister, Betty Drummond of Long Beach, California; nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Serving as casket bearers will be Earl Korshoj, Frank Korshoj, Holger Korshoj, Leonard Jackson, Gene Megrue and Roger Ward. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Bevington, Dr. L.I. Grace, James Herbert, Jerome Jenny, Harold Kowoski, Dean Kratz, J. Terry Macnamara, J. Emery Nelson, Phil Pagel, Wayne Steinbaugh and Dr. Richard Gentry.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the service.
