Virginia C. Korshoj, 69

Services for Virginia C. Korshoj, 69 of Fremont who died June 15, 1994 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha were Saturday, June 18 at First Lutheran Church in Fremont. Rev, Mark Grorud and Rev. David Jensen officiated. Burial was in Frazier Cemetery near Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Virginia Clark was born June 7, 1925 at Council Bluffs, Iowa. She grew up in Logan, Iowa, graduating from Logan High School. She then attended Dana College.

She married Earl Korshoj February 17, 1952 in Logan. They lived in Fremont, where her husband operates Korshoj Lumber and Supply Co.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church, the Joslyn Guild, Fremont Area Art Association, Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Dodge County Historical Society, Home Harmony Extension Club and Arbor Vitae Chapter No. 92 Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Earl; a son, Erik of Omaha; two daughters, Lisa Davies of Columbus and Merri Chris Korshoj of Elkhorn and three grandchildren.

Memorials have been established at First Lutheran Church, the American Cancer Society and the American Red Cross.

Ludvigson Mortuary in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
