Pete A. Kosmicki, 69

Services for Pete A. Kosmicki, 69 of Blair, who died March 19, 1995 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, were Wednesday, March 22 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blair. Burial was in the Blair Cemetery.

Pete A. Kosmicki was born August 31, 1925 to Adam and Frances Zocholl Kosmicki at Ogallala, Nebraska. He attended school in Ogallala.

He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.

He worked in telephone and power line construction until 1964 at which time he started working for Hunt Telephone Company in Blair. He retired in 1988.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and the Independent Telephone Pioneers Association of Blair.

In November, 1957, he married Wanda Dickson. She died in November of 1958.

On April 8, 1962 he married Shirley Krueger in Blue Hill, Nebraska.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; a daughter Darlene Wing of Emporia, Kansas; a son, Dennis and his wife, Theresa of Omaha; a daughter, Denise and her husband Frank Kitke, also of Emporia, Kansas; six grandchildren and a sister, Rose Ann Rice of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
