Services Are Wednesday for Bob Kracl

Funeral services are 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, at Reckmeyer–Moser Funeral Home in Arlington for Bohunil (Bob) Kracl, 85, of Arlington, who died June 12, 1983, at Crowell Home in Blair.

The Rev. Charles Swanson will conduct the services. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery at Wahoo.

A prayer service will be held Tuesday, June 14, at 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.

Bohunil Kracl was born March 25, 1898, in Czechoslovakia. A retired Colon area farmer and Arlington businessman, he farmed near Schuyler until 1925 when he moved to the Colon area. He farmed there until 1954 at which time he moved to Arlington, where he owned and operated Bob’s Café and Tavern.

He married Carrie Kouma on April 14, 1925, at Schuyler. She died April 12, 1948.

He then married Grace Le Master on December 3, 1954. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, James Kracl of Omaha; and a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Elva Rose) Utterback, of Omaha. Two brothers, Anton Kracl of Rogers and John Kracl of Schuyler; three sisters, Mrs. Agnes Ruzicka of Wahoo, Mrs. Mary Koutney of Colon, Mrs. Otte (Frances) Wesely of North Bend; and one grand-daughter, Mrs. Bill (Lowe) Kenny of Omaha, also survive him.

Memorials are suggested to the Arlington Rescue Squad.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington is in charge of the arrangements for the services.
