Services Held for 52-Year-Old Lois Spidle

Services were held at 9 a.m. Monday, April 24, for 52 year old Mrs. Carl (Lois) Spidle of 1173 South 16th Street in Blair. Mrs. Spidle died at the Blair Hospital after a lengthy illness with cancer.

Mrs. Spidle was born on February 15, 1926 at Columbus, Nebraska. She was married to Carl Spidle and has been a housewife during her lifetime.

Rosary was Sunday evening with funeral services at the St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, Father Dan Galas officiating. Burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Beside her husband Carl, there is one surviving daughter. She is Mrs. Richard (Christine) Carr of Sheboygan, Wisconsin. There are also three grandchildren.

Two sisters are Omah McEnerney and Alma Hasselbach, both of Columbus, Nebraska.

Pallbearers were Ray Furtak, Henry Neef, Ray Sapp, Jim Scheffler, Don Schettler and Clarence Veach.
