MRS. LEROY SPIKER BURIED WEDNESDAY AT ROSE HILL

Mrs. LeRoy Spiker, a life-long resident of Washington County, was buried at the Rose Hill Cemetery 12 miles west of Blair last Wednesday, June 28th.

Mrs. Spiker, the former Bernice Hugelman, was born at Herman June 2, 1909 and was 63 years of age at her death. She was the daughter of the late Leo B. and Anna Hugelman, of Herman.

Mrs. Spiker is survived by her husband LeRoy and by two daughters and three sons. The daughters are Mrs. Jennings (Jodeen) McCourt, of Webster Springs, West Virginia, and Gayle Spiker, who lives at home. The sons are Richard Spiker, of Blair and Willard and Ronald, both of whom are living at home.

Also surviving are two sisters and three brothers. The sisters are Mrs. Evelyn Spiker and Mrs. Henry (Ruthene) Smith, both of Blair. The brothers are Kenneth Hugelman of Ericson, Nebraska and Willard and Howard Hugelman, both of Lincoln.

Funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home in Blair with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery.

The pallbearers were all nephews. They were Gene Spiker, Terry Carmichael, Glenn Nelson, Howard LeRoy Taylor, Leslie Hugelman and James Delisi.
