FUNERAL HELD SATURDAY FOR MRS. STRATBUCKER

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, June 6th, at Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church for Gertrude Stratbucker, 79, who passed away Thursday morning at Immanuel Hospital. A prayer service was held on Friday evening at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements. Reverend Douglas Darnold officiated, and burial was held in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Gertrude Dietrich was born in Germany on February 26, 1902. She was married to William Stratbucker and they lived in the Fort Calhoun area for several years. Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Hyle (Martha) Thibault of Omaha; 2 sons, Frank and Jim of Fort Calhoun; sisters, Freda Arras, Martha Boullwinkel, Mata Greene, all of California; Liesbetha Wesch of Bartley, Nebraska; brothers, Albert Dietrich of California and Otto of Germany; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Bill E. Stratbucker, Werner Stratbucker, George Stratbucker, Larry Stratbucker, Joe Nixon, and Dan Nixon.
