WM. STRATBUCKER DIED IN OMAHA HOSPITAL MAY 8

William Stratbucker, long-time farmer of the Fort Calhoun community, died on May 8, at Clarkson Hospital in Omaha. Funeral services were held at the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church with Reverend Lynn Williams conducting the service. Interment was in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Mr. Stratbucker was born in Hovestadt, Germany, October 27, 1900. He came to this country at age 22 in 1922. He married Gertrude Dietrich on August 27, 1925 and they have lived on the same farm in Fort Calhoun since that time.

Besides his wife, Gertrude, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Hyle (Martha) Thibault of Omaha; two sons, Frank and Jim, both of Fort Calhoun; three brothers, August and Fritz of Germany and Joe of Fort Calhoun; two sisters, Francisca Hennigfield and Ida Brune of Germany. He had six granddaughters.
