IRENE STREHLMAN, 93
Irene Strehlman, 93 of Hooper, died Friday, March 26, 1999, at Hooper Care Center.
Services were March 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. The Rev. David Loeschen officiated.
Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
Pallbearers were David Praeuner, Patrick Luedders, Harold Johnson, Murriel Hansen, Harlen Just, and Brad Walter.
Irene Strehlman was born Oct. 8, 1905 to Emil and Emma (Frese) Just in Ainsworth.
She grew up in Madison and moved to Fremont in 1928.
She worked for Dr. Richardson and Dr. Andrew Harvey for several years and on April 12, 1945, married Otto H. Strehlman in Fremont.
Her husband died Oct. 29, 1998.
In July 1995, she moved to the Hooper Care Center.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, Wilma Hansen of Fremont; Adelyn Praeuner of Battle Creek; Ardith Wayne of Kansas; Harlan Just of Omaha; and Bernita Just of Arlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Arthur and Emil Just; and one sister, Beata Just.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church.
Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
