STREHLMANN SERVICES HELD AT ARLINGTON

Funeral services were Tuesday, April 19, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church near Arlington for Martin H. Strehlman, 79, who died April 15, 1983, in Memorial Hospital of Dodge County.

The Rev. Dennis Maaske conducted the services. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Martin H. Strehlman was born October 21, 1903 in Leslie, Missouri. He was raised in Missouri, moving to Arlington in his early 20’s.

He farmed until retiring. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Arlington, and the Lutheran Laymen’s League.

He married Olga Rinas on February 26, 1933 at Arlington.

He is survived by his wife, Olga, Arlington; a brother, Otto, Fremont; a step-brother, Clarence Mestemacher, Beaufort, Missouri; sisters, Mrs. Ella McDonald, Rosanky, Texas; Mrs. Roscoe (Ida) Grob, Florissant, Missouri; and step-sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Mildred) Deppermann, Owensville, Missouri; and Mrs. Herbert (Elaine) Depperman, Owenville, Missouri, also survive him.

Pallbearers were Larry Rinas, Brent Rinas, Dean Schmidt, Gary Schmidt, Elmer Westerman and Arthur Wittman.

Mr. Dennis Godeman was organist.

Memorials are suggested to the church.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington was in charge of arrangements.

MARTIN H. STREHLMAN

Martin Hl. Strehlman was born October 21, 1903 at Leslie, Missouri where he grew up. He then moved to the Arlington, Nebraska area where he was engaged in farming. He was the son of Fredrick and Martha (Osiek) Strehlman. He was united in Holy Matrimony with Olga Rinas, Feb. 23, 193. Martin was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Laymen’s League.

He passed from this life Friday. April 15, 1983 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County in Fremont, Nebraska at the age of 79 years, 5 months and 24 days. He is survived by his wife, Olga; 1 brother, Otto Strehlman; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ella McDonald and Mrs. Rosco (Ida) Grob; 1 step-brother, Clarence Mestemacher and 2 step-sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Mildred) Deppermann and Mrs. Herbert (Elaine) Deppermann.

Following graveside services in God’s Acre, the family invites all friends and relatives to join them in the Parish Hall where a lunch will be served.
