FLORENCE STRENGER, 79

Services were Wednesday, January 9 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont for Florence (Mrs. Earl) Strenger, 79 of Fremont who died January 7, 1991 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County. Rev. Donald Levenhagen officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Florence Gieselmann Strenger was born April 11, 1911 at Arlington to Herman and Emma Hilgenkmap Giesselmann. She moved to Fremont with her family in 1916 and attended Trinity Lutheran School. She graduated from Fremont High School.

She was confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in rural Arlington in 1925. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in the ladies aid and other church activities.

She married Earl Strenger September 24, 1933 in Fremont at Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Earl; a sister-in-law Gladys Boschult; and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran School.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont was in charge of arrangements for the services.
