Funeral services for Hobert L. Cole will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 1 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 20th and Davis Streets in Blair. Father Daniel Galas will deliver the service.

Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 31 at the Campbell Funeral Home, 444 S. 17th Street.

Cole resided at 505 N. 10th Street in Blair and worked as a truck driver for Tyson Elevators. He died Tuesday, May 29, at Blair Memorial Community Hospital at age 70.

Survivors include wife Lillian; children Ruth (Mrs. Gary) Wachter of Blair, Tom of Gastonia, North Carolina, and Dan of Omaha; brothers Jack Cole of Fresno, California, Kenneth Cole of Omaha, and Mrs. Thelma McCourtney of Auburn; and six grandchildren.

Pallbearers for Friday’s burial at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair are Art Jipp, Robert Jahnel, Roy Kirk, Del Livermore, Jim Long, and Arnold Petersen.

The Cole family requests memorials to either the Blair Rescue Squad or St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church.
