MRS. CALVIN COLE DIED AT HOSPITAL TUESDAY, AUG. 3

Vinnie E. Cole wife of Calvin Cole died at the Blair Memorial Community Hospital Tuesday, August 3rd. Mrs. Cole was 75 years old.

She was born at Kennard, September 7, 1900 and spent most of her life in the Kennard and Blair area. Mr. and Mrs. Cole lived on Blair rural route 1. They were married January 30, 1919 at Logan, Iowa.

She is survived by her husband Calvin, and by a son and a daughter and three grandchildren.

The son is Robert Cole of Phoenix, Arizona; the daughter is Mrs. George Rodgers (Virginia) of San Bernardino, California.

A sister, Ella Sue Massau, of San Bernardino, California is also a survivor.

Another sister, Opal Lantry, is deceased. Four brothers, Bud, Clifford, Pearl and Babe Brewster are all deceased.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell Mortuary, Friday morning, August 6th with the Rev. Ray Phelps conducting the service.

Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.
