Mrs. B. E. Colgan passed away at her home last Friday morning following a two weeks siege of pneumonia. The deceased was born November 15, 1866, at Kickapoo, Ill., and in 1888 she was married to B. E. Colgan of Wyoming, Ill. Seven children were born to this union, all of whom survive her. They family moved from Illinois to Thompson, Mo., in 1905 and ten years later they moved to Herman. For the past three years they have made their home in Blair.

Funeral services were conducted at the Catholic Church Monday morning at 9:00 o’clock with Rev. George Jonaitis, officiating. Burial was made in the Catholic Cemetery. Surviving her are her invalid husband; seven children, George and Frank at home, Tim and Mrs. Rose Vaughn of Tekamah, Mrs. Mayme Titterington of Marshall, Mo., Thomas of Wyoming, Ill., and Walter of Princeton, Ill. A half sister Mrs. John J. Kelley of Peoria, Ill., beside nineteen grandchildren also survive.
