SERVICES FOR LOIS COLLINS WERE MONDAY

Services for Lois M. Collins were held Monday, July 11th at the First Methodist Church in Blair. Mrs. Collins, 62, died at the Dodge County hospital, in Fremont on Thursday, July 7th.

Burial was in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary. Rev. Gordon Patterson officiated with Karen Flynn as the organist.

Mrs. Collins is survived by three children. They are Mrs. John (JoAnn) Watkins of Blair; Glenn Thomas of Omaha and Jerry Thomas of Imperial Beach, California. Ernest Thomas preceded her in death. There are four grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Collins (John and Lois) owned a tavern in Blair some 25 years ago. They also owned a café in Blair for several years. John preceded her in death in 1970.

Brothers are: Harvey Salleng of Council Bluffs; Leonard Salleng of Pasadena, California. A sister: Mrs. Mae DeSan? of Omaha and her mother, Mrs. Sarah Salleng of Omaha.

She was a member of the Eagles and V. F. W. Auxiliaries.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Salleng, who was killed in World War II.

Pallbearers were: Fred Gutschow, Ervin Andersen, James Anderson, John Andreasen, Larry Kjeldgaard and Tom Larson.
