SERVICES ARE ON FRIDAY FOR WALT COLLINS

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 18 at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard for G. Walter Collins of Kennard, who died February 16, 1983, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha.

The Rev. K. F. Kaleuati will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery.

G. Walter Collins was born September 2, 1914, in Morland, Kansas, to Arxane and Alberta Grey Collins. He married Jayne Lovell January 6, 1936.

He established Collins Millwork Company in 1969 after having been in the lumber business for many years, beginning in Arkansas. They moved to Nebraska in 1961.

He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Kennard.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary McGlasson.

He is survived by his wife, Jayne; three sons, David Collins, Kennard and Michael Collins and Kirk Collins, both of Omaha; and two daughters, Mrs. Nick (Christine) Hoier, Herman, and Mrs. John (Sherri) Roberts of Ogallala. Four grandchildren; and two brothers, L. Thomas Collins of Lampe, Missouri, and Howard Collins, of Denver Colorado, also survive him.

Pallbearers will be Michael Kahnk, Calvin Bruce, Jim Wilcox, Mark Bennett, Steve Christensen and Alfred Wiese.

Campbell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.
