BLAINE STRICKLETT, FORMER BLAIR MAN, BURIED SATURDAY

Blaine L. Stricklett, 22-year-old former Blair man died Tuesday, December 24th at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Omaha. Blaine is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Stricklett who reside at Waterloo, Nebraska. Blaine had been living at Valley, Nebraska.

He was an employee of the Valmont Industries, makers of a number of metal products, located near Valley.

He is survived by his wife, Janet of Blair, and by two sons, Anthony and Andrew.

He is also survived by his parents and by three brothers and three sisters. The brothers are: Bruce D. Stricklett of Ft. Calhoun; Darryl G. Stricklett, of Waterloo; Randal L. Stricklett of Omaha. The sisters are Mrs. Robert Hill of Omaha; Mrs. Paul Hamke of Blair and Miss Grace L. Stricklett of Waterloo.

Funeral services were held at Blair Saturday afternoon at the First Christian Church, the Rev. Ray Phelps conducting the service.

Burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Bendorf Funeral Home.

The pallbearers were David Knoell, Mike Pearson, Greg Biram, Mark Thompson, Bryan Peterson and Mike Kelly.
