MRS. DICK STRICKLETT DIED TUESDAY

Mrs. Dick Stricklett, a resident of Blair for many years, died at Memorial Community Hospital Tuesday, December 6th. She was 81 years old.

Mrs. Stricklett was born June 18th 1879 at Allen, Nebraska, but came to Blair many years ago. She was married to Dick Stricklett November 8th, 1899 at Blair and this community has been her home for more than a half century.

She is survived by five daughters and one son. The daughters are Mrs. Harriet Hall of Wayne, Nebr.; Mrs. Gertrude West of Blair; Mrs. Geneva Leptien of Blair; Mrs. Dema Tucker of Blair; and Mrs. Murial Nielsen of Kennard. The son is Lloyd Stricklett of Racine, Wisconsin.

Her husband, Dick Stricklett, died March 12th, 1955.

There are 11 grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren surviving.

Funeral services are being held at the Methodist Church this afternoon, December 8th, with the Rev. Donald Springer in charge. Burial will be made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.
