SERVICES ARE ON WEDNESDAY FOR J. STRICKLETT

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 9, at the First Christian Church in Blair for Jessie Stricklett, 93, who died February 5, 1983 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

The Rev. Owen Wilmot will conduct the services. Burial will be in the family plot at the Blair Cemetery.

Jessie Stricklett was born February 26, 1889 at DeSoto, Nebraska to Sam and Alice Bouvier. She married Walter Stricklett may 5, 1908. She lived most of her life in Washington County where she was known for the beautiful flowers in her yard.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, on April 20, 1952.

She is survived by two sons, Ernie of Blair; Melbourne of Portland, Oregon; two daughters, Bernice Halstead of Redmond, Oregon; and Blendenna Stringer of Barstow, California. She also leaves five grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bob Jensen, Arnie Jensen, Les Bucklen, Rolland Bucklin, Burke Dixon, and Harry Arndt.

Memorials may be made to the Blair Rescue Squad.
