Services for Gus A. Ott, 88, of Fremont, who died February 19, 1996 at Arbor Manor in Fremont, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 22 at the Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Rev. Elaine C. Quincy will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery at Fremont.

Gus A. Ott was born March 12, 1907 at Hooper, Nebraska to Ben and Norie Wagner Ott.

He had worked as a meatcutter most of his working years. He had worked at the Mead Ordinance Plant during the World War II years and had them worked for the city of Fremont. He had lived in the Fremont area most of his life.

He married Eleanor Mehan January 19, 1934. They later divorced and she died in March of 1989.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and a sister.

He is survived by a daughter, Jeanyne (Mr. Lyle) Bang of Amus, Nebraska; a son, Wilbur Ott of Morse Bluff, Nebraska; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a brother, Fred Ott of Hooper.
