Survived by: husband, Charles Nelson, daughter, Patty (Doug) Appel and son, Dennis Nelson, all of Fort Calhoun; daughter, Pam (Lenny) Swanger of Omaha; brothers: Carl (Ann) Sappenfield of Goodyear, AZ, and Richard Sappenfield of Omaha; grandchildren: Michelle Appel Nelson, Jeff Appel and Lisa Weber; great-grandchildren: Nolyn, Kloey and Wyatt Appel.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.

Interment: Fort Calhoun Cemetery
