ESSIE L. CONNELLY

Essie Leona Connelly, wife of Clifford Connelly, of Blair, died Wednesday, July 31st at Memorial Community Hospital. The Connellys lived at 230 North 23rd Street, Blair.

Mrs. Connelly was born June 27, 1908 at Persia, Iowa and was 66 years of age at her death. She is survived by her husband and three children, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Duane Willmott of Blair is a son. The daughters are Mrs. Dwain Guy (Twyla) of Kansas City, and Mrs. William Kuhl (Sheila) of Omaha.

She is also survived by a brother and three sisters. Clarence Honewell, of Logan, Iowa is her brother. The sisters are Mrs. Milton Pitt, of Logan, Iowa; Mrs. Emma Chamber of Portland, Oregon; and Mrs. Herman Sears, of Missouri Valley, Iowa.

Funeral services were held at the First Christian Church at Blair, Friday, August 2nd. The Rev. Ray Phelps conducted the service and burial was made in the Blair Cemetery under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary.

Pallbearers were Joe Foster, Sam Moore, Joe Thompson, Bernard Thompson, Art Hatcher, and Rudolph Matzen.
