ARCHIE J. CONRAD SERVICES TODAY

Mr. Archie Conrad, well known Blair business man, passed away at the Methodist Hospital in Omaha on Tuesday, September 1st. He had suffered a heart ailment for a number of years.

He was born October 1st, 1900 in Fremont and was married to Mable Williams. They were the parents of two children, Donald Conrad and Mrs. Gerald Foley (Donna) both of Blair.

Mr. Conrad has operated the Fairway Oil Company at Thirteenth and South Streets in Blair for the past thirty-five years.

He is survived by his wife, two children and seven grandchildren. Also surviving is his mother, Mrs. Edith Conrad of Fremont, two brothers, Floyd of Fremont and Carlos of Montana and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Rhea of Columbus, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held September 3rd (today) at 10 A.M. at the St. Francis Borgia Church. Father Patrick Nolan and a nephew Father Timothy Evans of Omaha officiated. The Campbell Mortuary is in charge with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Dr, W. E. Cochring, Emory Hunt Jr., Ernest Bohs, Fred Guyer, Martin Kuhr, Sr., Edgar Frahm, Ted Jarosz and Bob Macholan.
