Norman P. Matzen, 94, of Blair died June 19, 2015. He was born December 6, 1920.

He was preceded in death by first wife Gretchen Matzen and second wife Helen (Loftis) Matzen. Also preceded in death by son Phillip Matzen, parents Andrew Matzen and Charlotte Matzen, and 4 sisters. Survived by son Norman Matzen and daughters Patricia Lamfers and Susan Matzen, 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his long life for family and friends will be at The American Legion, 103 S. 12th St. Blair Ne. on June 28, 2015, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Lite lunch will be served. Please direct memorials to The Alzheimers Ass. P.O. box Washington D.C. 20090-6011 in memory of Norman Matzen.
