Grace I. Kracl

Grace I. Kracl, 66, of Omaha and formerly of Arlington, died Friday, July 3, 1987, at her home from heart failure.

Grace I. LeMaster was born February 22, 1921, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. From there, she moved to Omaha when she was 16.

She lived in Wahoo until moving to Arlington in 1953.

She and her husband Bohumil F. “Bob” Kracl operated “Bob’s Place,” a tavern and care in Arlington.

They were married December 3, 1954, in Wahoo. Her husband died June 12, 1983. She moved to Omaha in 1984.

Survivors include a son, James of Omaha; a step-daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Elva Rose) Utterback of Omaha; brothers Leonard, Shirley and Clifford LeMaster, all of Council Bluffs, and Robert LeMaster of San Diego, California; sisters, Mrs. Margaret Dugger, Mrs. Don (Evelyn) Kutchara and Mrs. Ralph (Betty) Aldrich, all of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Helen Jensen of Camarillo, California, 1 step-grandchild and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Cora (Stivers) LeMasters and a sister, Dorothy Thompson.

Services were held Monday, July 6, 1987, at Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington.

Pallbearers were Glenn H. Giesselmann, Rupert Hilgenkamp, Paul Sorensen; George Dean, Dennis Decker and Fred Bremer.

Organist was Mrs. Kay Voss, and singers were Dr. and Mrs. Jack Cady.

Rev. Norman Pavey of the First Congregational Church, UCC, Fremont, officiated.

Memorials are suggested to the Arlington Rescue Squad.

Burial was in the St. Francis Cemetery in Wahoo.
