Arlington Man’s Brother Dies

Funeral services are today, Thursday, in St. George Catholic Church in Morse Bluff for Louis H. Kracl, 89, of Morse Bluff who died in Birchwood Manor in North Bend of natural causes on September 27, 1982.

The Rev. Melvin Wass is conducting the services. Burial will be in Schuyler Cemetery.

Louis H. Kracl was born August 9, 1893, Moravia. He farmed near Schuyler until the 1930’s when he moved to the Morse Bluff area where he farmed until retiring in 1959.

He was a member of St. George’s Catholic Church in Morse Bluff and the Modern Woodmen.

He married Frances Slavik August 25, 1921, in June. She preceded him in death September 25, 1952.

He is survived by two sons, William of Cedar Bluffs and Eldon of Bruno; and two daughters, Mrs. Limir (Elsie) Rathovec of O’Neil and Mrs. Pete (Helen) Holmes of Plattsmouth. Eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Anton of Rogers, John of Schuyler and Bob of Arlington; and three sisters, Mrs. Agens Ruzicka of Wahoo, Mrs. Mary Kotney of Colon and Mrs. Otto (Francis) Wesely of North Bend also survive him.

Memorials may be made to the North Bend Rescue Squad or the Morse Bluff Volunteer Fire Department.
