Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Stuttgart, Kans. for Vernon W. Krafft, 82, who died Jan. 22, 1997 in the long Term Care Unit of Phillips County Hospital in Phillipsburg, Kans. Rev. Don Swanson will officiate. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery at Stuttgart.

Vernon W. Krafft was born Feb. 5, 1914 in Phillips County, Kans. He farmed.

He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Krafft, who died March 10, 1994.

Her is survived by sons, Dentron Krafft and Blaine Krafft, both of rural Phillipsburg; daughters, Vesta Thompson of Blair and Ardes Lawyer of Phillipsburg; a brother, Raymond Krafft of Santa Ana, Calif.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and one step-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be direct to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Stuttgart.

Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel in Phillipsburg is in charge of arrangements.
