Hannah J. Kramer, 92

Hannah J. Kramer, 92, of Lincoln, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, at the Tabitha Hospice in Lincoln.

Services were Saturday, Feb. 19, 2000, at the Roper & Sons Mortuary in Lincoln. Burial was in the Ashland Cemetery.

Hannah J. Kramer was born Jan. 23, 1908, to Edward and Anna (Kline) Schroeder, in Greenwood. She graduated from Havelock High School in 1924 and from the University of Nebraska in 1954.

She began teaching in rural Cass County at the age of 17 and taught in Syracuse, Greenwood, Walton and Davey and later in the Lincoln Public Schools.

On April 1, 1934, she married Clarence Kramer in Syracuse.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Lincoln Retired Teachers Association, UNL Alumni Association, NU Foundation, UNL Teachers College Alumni and the Cotner Center Association.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sharon Kramer of Lincoln; daughters and son-in-law, Jane and Dale Leon of Blair and Paula Larch of Lincoln; sisters, Angeline Lemon and Lillian Brandhorst of Lincoln; sisters-in-law, Lottie Blumberg of Syracuse and Marguerite Hopp of Cook; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and sisters, Violet Secora, Marcella Brooks and Jeanette Huff.
