Roseann J. Krantz, 65

Roseann J. Krantz, 65, died Nov. 17, 2008, at her home in The Villages, Fla.

Roseann J. Auld was born Aug. 4, 1943, in Wilmington, Del to John and Olga Auld. She began her career as a registered nurse and became a coordinator and educator in emergency medical systems. Her leadership in trauma care led to the development of the state trauma system in North Dakota. She started two flight programs – the first, in Fargo, N.D., and then in Columbia, S.C. She retired in 2004 after achieving national stature as a lead in aeromedical services.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Brent Krantz of The Villages; her parents, John and Olga Auld of Wilmington; mother-in-law, B.E. Krantz of Blair; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Stephen Syverson of Fargo, N.D., Kristen Krantz Bagazinski of Chicago, Ill., Karen and Ted Bloemker of Fremont, and Kerry and Wade Falke of Omaha; son, James Campbell of Manasas, Va.; six grandchildren; sister, Florence Auld of Georgetown, Washington, D.C., and a brother, Phil Auld of Wilmington.
