Taylor, III, William O.C. Age 61 Ames, NE. Died Saturday, June 20th, 2015. Bill went to be with the Lord while sleeping peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife and children. He was born on March 20th, 1954 in Fremont, NE, to Ralph and Maxine Taylor. The family lived in Ames, NE and he graduated from North Bend Central in 1972. He became a fourth generation farmer in 1972 and farmed his entire life in the Ames area. Bill married Patricia Dunker in 1973 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in North Bend. Bill was a current member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, North Bend Drainage and Ditching Board and the Fremont Rural Fire Department where he has served as president for the past 20 years. Bill also served on the Dodge County Zoning Board, Lower Platte North NRD Board, Platte Township Board, Ames District #91 School Board, and served on the Nebraska Corn Growers Board of Directors. Bill was also involved with numerous agricultural and local organizations. Survivors include wife, Patricia; sons, Chad of Cambridge, NE, Justin (Amy) of Ames, Zachary (Beth) of Fremont, Adam (Emily) of Ames; daughters, Tamara (Dusty) Wilcox of Fremont and Jessica (Josh) Faltys of Clarkson; 16 grandchildren and twins arriving soon; mother, Cherie (Willard) Schulz of Fremont; brothers, Danny Taylor and John Monson both of Fremont; sisters, Judy Raymond of Arlington, Sarah Jane (Rick) Tucker of Nickerson, Alison Monson of Fremont, Denise (Dave) Patterson of Texas and Jennifer Monson of Fremont. He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephew Michael Taylor. FUNERAL MASS 10:30am, Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in North Bend, NE. VISITATION will be from 4:30-8pm, Tuesday with a Vigil/Rosary at 7pm at the church in North Bend. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm at the church. Burial will be at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont following the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Angel Flights, Morse Bluff/North Bend Baseball Association, North Bend FFA and North Bend Mat Cats.
