Margaret Overman, 77, of Blair died at the Monteclare Nursing Home in Omaha on Friday, September 8, 1989, after a lengthy illness.

Funeral Services were Monday at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, with Father Dan Galas as Celebrant. Burial was in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair.

Margaret Overman was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on July 15, 1912 to George and Josephine Ryan Overman. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in Omaha, and later worked for Woodman of The World.

Margaret married Henry Peterson. He preceded her in death.

She was united in marriage to John Overman and they operated the Overman Upholstery and Furniture Business in Benson. He preceded her in death in January 1987.

Margaret is survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends in the Lakeland, Blair and Omaha areas.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
