A very tiny package
That arrived that September
Would be a life
That we all would remember.
The red hair should have told us
We should have known then
That nothing would daunt her
From beginning to end.
When she made up her mind
Just give it a rest
Because she was determined
And knew what was best.
Then came a time
When her strength needed showing
Heather of course
Came through really glowing.
Her smile was contagious
And her laugh was too.
My pride in my daughter
Will always hold true.
You showed us all
How life can be lived
We miss you, we love you
My very precious gift.
