Henry Kroeger, 82

Services for Henry Kroeger, 82 of Blair and formerly of Kennard who died April 20, 1992 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 22 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery at Kennard.

He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene and Michael Casey of St. Joseph, Missouri, Jeanne and Barton Fleck, Gretna and Linda and Ron Madsen, Blair; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Ernest of Omaha and two sisters, Emma Mueller of Bennington and Anna Schaecher of Elkhorn.

Henry Kroeger, 82

Services for Henry Kroeger, 82 of Blair who died April 20, 1992 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha were held Wednesday, April 22 at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with Rev. William Koeber, Jr. officiating. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery.

Henry Kroeger, the son of Peter and Margretha Kroeger was born June 24, 1909 in Bennington, Nebraska. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bennington.

He married Mildred Andersen June 5, 1935. They farmed in Douglas and Burt Counties and near Kennard. They lived west of Kennard for 45 years.

He moved to Blair after Mildred died in May, 1989. He lived there until he became ill in September of 1991.

He was a board member of the Washington County Insurance Company and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, four brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene and Mike Casey of St. Joseph, Missouri, Jeanne and Barton Fleck of Gretna and Linda and Ron Madsen of Blair; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernest Kroeger of Omaha and two sisters, Emma Mueller of Bennington and Anna Schaecher of Elkhorn.

Pallbearers were six grandsons, Bradley Fleck, Todd Pickering, Ryan Madsen, Dan Casey, Shawn Casey and Corey Casey.

Honorary pallbearers were Roy Sieckmeyer, Jim Williby and Ray Kruse.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
