Lucille Arlene (Need) Schutt, 83

Lucille Arlene (Need) Schutt passed away July 7, 2015, at her son's home in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska, at the age of 83. Funeral services will be held Saturday at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair at 11:00AM. Visitation will be held prior to service beginning at 10:00AM.

Lucille was born October 4, 1931, to Dela and Forest Need in Osceola, Nebraska. On June 7, 1947, she married Donald Schutt. They were married 64 years at the time of his death. The couple had 5 children.

Lucille lived most of her adult life in Burt and Washington Counties. She worked for Good Shepherd Nursing Home for 26 years and also several years at Artex in Blair.

As a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Lucille always enjoyed spending time with her family.

In retirement she enjoyed spending her time sewing, scrap booking and the company of her dog Lilly.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Donald, parents, and brother Robert Need.

Left to cherish her full life are 5 children: Raymond (Nancy) Schutt of Fremont, Nebraska, Michael (Donna) Schutt of Tekamah,Nebraska, Patricia Lewis of Dover, Oklahoma, Robert (Stacey) Schutt of Gretna, Nebraska, and Timothy (Jeannene) Schutt of Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska; and her greatest joys: 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Lucille’s family for later designation.
