OBITUARY

Gust Jenson was born in Sweden on April 23rd, 1855. When a little over twenty-five years of age he came to America where he resided for four years, after which he returned to Sweden and was united in Holy Matrimony to Miss Caroline Griep on May 3rd, 1883.

On July 25th, 1888, they came to Washington County, in Nebraska, where mr. Jensen engaged infarming. In March 1904, they moved from near Blair to Arlington, where he has resided with his good wife until the day of His Eternal Calling, August 18th, 1930 at 6:15 A.M.

Mr. Jensen has been ailing and in very poor health for the past twelve years. The past five or six years has found him confined more or less to around and do those things which were his bed. He has not been able to get upon his heart to do.

Mr. Jensen has always stood for the right and taught his family the meaning of truth and justice and mercy. He united with the Swedish Lutheran Church in the country of his birth, to which he has remained a member until the day of his death.

He leaves to mourn his going, his beloved wife and companion, Mrs. Carolina Jensen, together with seven children; Edwin G. of Roseville, Calif.; John G. of Herman; Mrs. Inez E. Laughlin of Tekamah; Fred H. of Loveland, Colo.; Carl G. of Washington; Mrs. Ellen E. Anderson of Arlington; Albert J. of Fontanelle; and twenty grandchildren together with a host of friend who have come to know him and enjoy his fellowship.

CARD OF THANKS - We desire to thank the many friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us during our recent bereavement, and also for the many kindnesses and floral offerings.
