Services were Monday, January 25, at Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont for Elsie M. Strohm, 92 of Fremont who died January 20, 1993 at the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner, Nebraska. Rev. Leland G. Uden officiated. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery at Fremont.

Elsie M. Strohm was born August 18, 1900 at Herman, Nebraska to William and Amelia Lass Druhe. She grew up in the Craig, Nebraska area, where she graduated from high school.

She taught school in several communities near Herman and Craig and other communities as she moved with her husband due to his highway construction business. After moving to Fremont in 1961, she did substitute teaching.

She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.

She married Henry C. Strohm in Sabetha, Kansas June 4, 1950. He preceded her in death November 12, 1985.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirley (Mrs. Robert) Elrod of Fremont; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one brother, Henry Druhe of Tucson, Arizona.

Memorials may be given in her memory to Good Samaritan Center at Scribner.

Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
