Mildred Stronberg, 93

Services for Mildred Stronberg, 93, of Blair, who died June 23, 1995 at Crowell Memorial Home were Monday, June 26, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery in Omaha.

Mildred Dorothy Stronberg was born December 31, 1901 in Wakefield, Nebraska to Ira and Nellie Manning Wilhelm. She was a graduate of Wakefield High School.

She married Paul A. Stronberg in Sioux City, Iowa September 11, 1923. They lived in Wakefield until moving to Omaha in 1943.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, in January, 1963. She moved to Blair in the late 1980’s and was residing at Crowell Memorial Home at the time of her death.

She worked as a dental assistant for nine years and as a sales associate at the Brandeis Department Store. She loved playing the piano and played with her husband’s dance band.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and one brother.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Roger Petersen of Blair, and three grandchildren, Steven, Scott and Cynthia.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
